North Bournemouth volunteering
Would you like the chance to spend time outdoors doing a healthy activity and helping nature? BCP’s friendly rangers are looking for volunteers to help manage our beautiful nature reserves in the north part of Bournemouth.
The groups meet at 10am on Wednesdays and Thursdays on different sites each week.
You’ll get plenty of support and variety, doing tasks such as managing vegetation, fencing, path maintenance, pond restoration and litter picking. You’ll also be able to learn new skills such as hedge laying. You don’t need any experience just lots of enthusiasm, and you can choose the hours to suit you. You’ll probably get muddy and a bit damp, so you’ll need to come in suitable clothing and wear sturdy footwear. Bring your lunch or snacks and a drink.
We work hard to make our sessions open to everyone so please get in contact by emailing stour.valley@bcpcouncil.gov.uk We look forward to welcoming you.
