We teamed up with other organisations in the partnership to organise a variety of events that showcased the wonderful Dorset heaths.
These included pop-up information stands and litter-picks with the BCP rangers, guided walks with the Amphibian & Reptile Conservation Trust and Silverlake, opening up a moth trap at Hengistbury Head, and plenty of heathland activities.
Many people travel to Dorset to spend their summer holiday on the coast and we met lots of visitors as well as locals who love their heaths.
Thank you to everyone who came to the events, we hope that you learned something about heathlands and that you have a new appreciation of these wonderful habitats!
